StokerCon®2022 is pleased to announce Kevin Wetmore as the Emcee for the Bram Stoker Awards®.

Kevin Wetmore is the two-time Stoker Award finalist for non-fiction for The Streaming of Hill House and Uncovering Stranger Things, as well as the author of over two dozen books, including Post-9/11 Horror in American Cinema, Back from the Dead: Reading Remakes of Romero’s Zombie Films as Markers of Their Times, and Eaters of the Dead: Myths and Realities of Cannibal Monsters. He has also published over three dozen short stories as well, including the Lovecraft/Judy Blume mashups “Tales of a Fourth Grade Shoggoth” and “Are You There, Azathoth? It’s Me, Margaret,” the Pushcart Prize-nominated “Machiavelli’s The Little Prince,” and the award-winning “The Eleventh Whale.” He is also a professor at Loyola Marymount University, an actor, a stand up comic, a stage combat choreographer, an Aquarius, a loving father, doting husband, and a hell of a dancer.
